Wiseman's Ferry

We had a reasonably busy week, doing a couple of presentations and beginning to work on a Youth Conference on family stories. We went to our 4th ward this past Sunday and of-course immediately recognized someone. She is nana's age but the last time we saw her, she and her husband (Bruce and Elva Mitchell) had dropped by our house to visit us and her husband gave Jessie a blessing. She was just a baby and suffering with seizures at the time. It was 32 years ago. When I went up to her, she leaned forward and asked in a loud voice "Is that you Donna?" Pretty funny really..... how old I look!
On Saturday we went for a drive with Archibalds (our neighbor) and a young couple who are here on a month internship. Later in the day we went to a huge flea market close-by called Parklea. We bought some fruit and nuts and enjoyed just walking around for a bit.

  2. Dad looks so handsome and happy. Amazing that you, after all these years, found someone that was there when things were so hard 30 years ago. Incredible. Miss you. Xoxo
